  • Profile Picture: Optional photo stored securely in Supabase
  • Expense Data: Transaction amounts, currencies, descriptions, dates, locations, and categories
  • Household Information: Household membership and member relationships
  • Authentication Data: OAuth tokens from Apple or Google (if used for sign-in)

How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate your account and manage sessions
  • Track your expenses and provide budgeting insights
  • Enable household collaboration and expense sharing
  • Process AI-powered message ingestion via DeepSeek API (server-side only)
  • Convert currencies using Frankfurter API
  • Improve our service through anonymized usage analytics

Third-Party Services

Zynk uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Backend, database, authentication, and file storage
  • DeepSeek API: AI expense extraction from messages (processed server-side, not from your device)
  • Frankfurter API: Real-time currency conversion
  • Apple Sign In: Secure authentication via Apple ID
  • Google OAuth: Secure authentication via Google account

Data Sharing

  • Your expenses are shared with members of your household
  • We never sell your data to third parties
  • Service providers (Supabase, DeepSeek) only access data as needed to provide functionality

Data Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Data at rest is encrypted in Supabase's secure infrastructure
  • Authentication uses secure JWT tokens stored in encrypted device storage
  • No sensitive data is logged or stored in plain text

Your Rights

  • Access: You can view all your data within the app
  • Export: Contact us to export your data
  • Delete: You can delete your account anytime from Settings
  • Correct: Update your profile and expense data directly in the app

Children's Privacy

Zynk is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
